Heater Hose Strap for a 64

This is a cheap part and I'd like to get it right. Here is what I think i know.
    1. 63 AIM calls for a 3136626 - likely the correct number
    2. 64 AIM calls for a 3136266 - likely a transposition
    3. 65 AIM calls for a switch from 2 of the above to a single metal clip in March 65. So all 64s should have the aluminum strap but I know some have or think they should have the metal clip. Some references like VetteVues support this.

I'm going with the straps. It was suggested to me (on this fourm) that some repros are wrong because they have a rounded head which should be more square. I looked in the archives and came up with nothing but Dr. Rebuild offers what they call a good repo of the the 3136626 with not square but sharp chamfered head corners - picture attached. I've also posted a pic of the repros I currently have on the car.

Does the Dr. Rebuild picture look correct for both 63 and 64 (and early 65)?

Check out Noland Adams book, page 224, looks rounded to me.

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!

Larry, what I said in your other post may have confused you. When I mentioned the rounded verses square clamp ends, I was talking about the clamps on the fuel pump line.

If it was not what I said then disregard.

OK - I've got it. I looked on page 224 of Adams so what I have is good. Also, I bought some NOS fuel line clamps with the square ends and the "U" inside a diamond. So I've got that one covered also.

Now, here is the big question for Dan Holstein. If you have a red 64 Duntov car. and if it has a red interior, then you likely have seat belt buckles which are the correct color. I'd give my left *** to see a picture of them.

Larry, sorry, boring STD black interior, can't see the dirt! I'll keep my eye open for some original red ones.
