Protech . rust preventive coating

Years ago at Bloomington ( the real one) I bought a bottle of Proteck from the ASL company of Sparks Navada . It worked great at coating black bolts and some bare steel and cast iron . It smells like crayola's . I know ASL is out of business but does anyone know what it was made of ? Does anyone sell something like it ? thanks Bill

I used RPM on my differential and have been very pleased with the results. Smells more like shoe polish though.
