Finish plating on hood hinges and locking plates

I am restoring a 61 corvette and was wondering what kind of finish the hood hinges and hood locking plates and pins have on them. Mine is so rusted I can't tell for sure. Also can anyone tell me what color the trunk area is painted, body color or interior color? I think the guy who owned the car before me had it tank dipped painted orange. Ever nook and cranny has orange paint on it, he didn't miss anything.

On a '61, the inside of the trunk area is painted body color.
