69 427 Postive crankcase ventitation valve

The 427/390 HP engines use a 1 1/2 inch tower clamp. Are they suppose to be on both end of the hose?

On the breather hose but not the PCV valve. It has dark phosphate spring clamps with long tangs and square ends.

Were there any markings on the PCV valve hose? Were they ribbed or did they have anything stamped on them?

I might be able to put my hands on an original and take a pic. No markings other than an alligator texture. Different suppliers may have had different textures/markings but, the Bowtie and Survivor/Benchmark cars I've judged all appeared the same.

Mine had nothing so I got a repo from Doc Rebuild as it was ribbed with two ridges. Thanks Mark
