    Exhaust system question -c 2

On my 1966 427-450 car, should the exhaust manifold heat-riser weight/spring be facing the front of the car when installed (or maybe this is the only way it will install?).

    Hi Larry,1967 BB Exhaust.JPG
The 1966 & 1967 judging guides state that the valves counterbalance weight points inward on all big block engines. The photo is a low mileage 1967 427/435 5 star bowtie car exhaust before the car was cleaned up and went thru the judging process.
