    1966 Seatbelt buckle paint finish

    Regarding 1966 seatbelts:

    I've seen smooth, and I've seen "rough" painted buckles. What is correct?

      Bob, My original 1966 buckles have a smooth, dull finish.Ken

          Thanks for responding Ken. My restored buckles are smooth too, just wanted to be sure that they did 'em correctly. I saw a posting the other day about someone getting a deduct because their buckle wasn't "textured". Guess it depends on the year.
