    63 rear backing plates

    Looking for some nice rear backing plates for my 63 that are not all pitted, does anyone know if there are any passenger cars that use the same as the corvette. Thanks Robert

      The backing plates for the rear brakes for 63-64 Corvettes are unique to 63-64 Corvettes. The front backing plates are the same as 59-64 full size passenger cars

          I think 59-62 front backing plates have holes for adjusting the brake shoes that 63-64 lack ....63-64 plates they have a knock-out plug in the drum for adjusting shoes.
