Re: Repro ZN232 SIGNAL-STAT Flasher vs NOS
I just found 3 NOS SIGNAL-STAT ZN232 flashers at the Rhinebeck, NY, swap meet. They all look just like the Ian"s Feb. 15, 2014 photo on the far right. The same font and the text is all the same size, 1/8" high. The black plastic bottoms have "SIGNAL-STAT", BROOKLYN, N.Y." , "PAT 2708697 & 2756304", "MADE USA", encircled "L", and encircled "X".
On the side in very small digits the flashers are stamped as follows:
"049 61" (49th week of 1961)
"045 61" (45th week of 1961)
"1162" (11th week of 1962??? or maybe the 11th month of 1962???) Note: There is no space between the 1 and the 6.
