    1967 Steering Column Shaft

    Hey Guys
    I am working on my steering column... and everything on the engine bay side is kind of rusty. I have it apart now, and was wondering if the shaft is painted or natural?

      The shaft is natural. The outer tube is semi flat black. You may find a plastic sleeve that goes over the metal mesh area on a Mopar steering column of similar vintage......
