    Help- Telescopic Column extra piece

    I finished restoring my 65 Telescopic steering column and I have a part left over- Does anyone know where this goes? Thanks

      I have seen quite a few of them on original columns. It fit underneath the horn button stand, there is a little nub on the underside for location. The ends laid on the "donut" as I call it that snapped into the contact. Not sure what purpose it served, but the engineers thought it was needed!
