I was wondering if the aero body option on B2K equipped Corvettes are accepted for NCRS judging? I am guessing that they are not but I am hoping that I am wrong. Thanks in advance.

Re: Callaway Twin Turbo judging question
I'd be very surprised if it wasn't accepted. B2K was a factory option, not dealer installed AFAIK.- Top

Re: Callaway Twin Turbo judging question
Michael, I was told that B2K equipped Corvettes are accepted for judging when they retain the original body configuration. However if a car has the Callaway aerobody installed then the car will not be able to receive a Top Flight award. I hope that I am wrong though.- Top

Re: Callaway Twin Turbo judging question
I would think that if the Callaway aerobody was part of the B2K option it would judge fine...but if it wasn't a part of the B2K option that would make it an entire different ballgame...I would suggest you contact the National Team Leader for the class to get a more definitive answer.- Top

Re: Callaway Twin Turbo judging question
I believe Callaway has the original paperwork available for their cars and that should show if it was equipped with the aerobody originally.- Top

Re: Callaway Twin Turbo judging question
I am the owner of a B2K McLellan Mark of Excellence award winner RPO B2K car # 35 and a member of the Callaway owners group. The aerobody was a Callaway installed option not the Generals I also judge the 84-96 C4's. A Callaway with the aerobody kit would not acheive a Top Flight after all of the deductions for the body mods. There were also twin turbos that were not RPO B2K .They were cars sent from a dealer or a individual to Callaway for the mods These cars also would not score well.
