1967 rear caliper bracket

The new judging manual indicates the rear caliper bracket should be unpainted natural metal (pg 209). I want to be sure this is correct for judging. Can anyone verify

That is correct. The bearing support casting is black coloration.

Bearing support? Do you mean spindle bearing support? This is listed as bare metal as well. I am inquiring about the caliper bracket.

Cast caliper bracket is natural. So is the spindle. The spindle bearing support should be black (dark gray) coloration from the foundry process or possible black coloring. Some are black paint. I think the manual does cover this area quite well, better than past manuals that is for sure.
