Quadrajet Recoloring
I was wondering if anyone has been successful in recoloring their Q-Jet? I'm not talking about sending it out to be restored but rather just doing it yourself with a home kit. I've done a fair bit of plating with my old Caswell Plating kit and have run across a few articles on recoloring Holley carbs but nothing on Q-Jets and because the color is different I'll be the process is different. I could try the "Holley" method and hope for the best but I'll bet that it won't have the proper "olive" color that it should...
