That's very odd, I suspect maybe they pulled it out at the last minute?Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Appeared to be a phone bidder too, Dana's son was handling the call. I am still wondering why no info on their site. Could the bidder have backed out?Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

I think there is some kind of hold up on the sale, phone bidders credit line, possibly? Bet we see something on Monday, after bank transactions are set up.- Top

That stupid delayed hockey game cut my Sunday Mecum coverage to like 30 minutes, they need to improve the coverage.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Phil, I was there. The "Asking" was 2.4 when the hammer fell, so 2.3 is the correct number.
The 1965 Cobra was hammered at 1.6 right after the '56(un-listed in results but we saw it go off). Maybe that's what you were thinkin' of?

p.s. A friend has a video clip with sound when the #1 came up into the staging area. It'll be available later today.- Top

If you mean 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX3016, lot S154, it is shown in the results, at a high bid of $1.7 million, unsold.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

I think the whole thing fell through. Too bad for the seller, but he will have another chance before long I bet. I just wonder if a real bidder will get back up north of $2 mil.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
