I wanted to take a minute to thank all of the Judges and all of the other members that organized the 2014 Regional. This was the third year in a row I have been judged or had a PV at the Florida regional and it has always been an excellent experience. I know how much time and effort it takes to organize an event like this, so just wanted to make sure to thank you on behalf of myself and the membership for making it successful.
I tried my best to personally thank all who judged my blue 69 427/390. I always seem to leave an event like this with a new punch list of things to do to my car to make it better. The knowledge and the experience of the judges never ceases to amaze me.
This year I set a goal to hit a 97% raw score. I was able to achieve my goal because of all of those who judged my car 2 years ago and gave me things to improve upon last year when I went for a PV. I will hopefully be able to achieve a Duntov Award this year at the national. I had to argue a few small deductions over things I normally would have just ignored, but all of those points count with a survivor type car...I had a total of 145 points to lose and I lost 143. I owe it to the judges.
You guys are a class act. Thank you.
