    1968 427 distributor

I have 2 points style tach drive distributors that are tagged as 1111293 with what appear to be original tags. One is dated 7H7 and the other is 7K2. On both distributors, the tach drive gear and the gear on the mainshaft are stripped. I intended to rebuild one for my car using a new mainshaft and rebrazing the autocam from the old distributor to the new shaft to keep the correct advance curve. My problem is that the autocams on the distributors are different. One is stamped 201W on the top and the other has 168 stamped on the underside. Also, the distributor with the 201W shaft has a cam weight assembly that is stamped 720CCW and the one with the 168 mainshaft has a cam weight assembly stamped 732CCW. So, looking for some help to figure out what I have and which parts I should use in the rebuild. Neither one of them has ever run on my car, so going back with one that worked really is not an option at this point. Thanks, John Brough
