Windy City Muscle Spark Plug Wires

To date has anyone installed and does anyone have any feedback on their dated spark plug wires?

Apparently there have been lots of issues regarding their competitors dated spark plug wire performance.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Are you sure it's not Lectric Limited selling under another name? The products and location seem to match.

I was thinking the same thing. Hope springs eternal that someone will come out with wires that perform as good as they look.

Perhaps their quality has gone down, but the set I put on my 63 L-76 SHP in 1992 are still going strong (easy redline pulls). I speak of Lectric Limited and assume they are they same.

Bill, I have lectric limited wires on my 63 ( 3yrs.old) and 72 (seven yrs. old) they have not given me one problem. I believe that handling the wires carefully and routing is important, GM has the rubber holders that are numbered so each wire is set into position to keep the wires from cross firing which can happen and cause a lot of grief with rough running. Each wire has a specific length, lectric limited gives a sheet with the cylinder no. and its length. Another nice detail is in the AIM, it shows how a nice neat install should look like.

Like Ed I've had LL's wires on my car for about six years. No problems other than the ones I caused, a story for another day. Three ends have been repaired, resulting in the wires being a touch shorter than they should be and I've never had a miss. Honestly, I don't really thrash the thing but when I decide to "excercise" the Tachometer it runs smooth. Hope this helps.

I'm not 100% sure, I think most complaints about Lectric Limited wires are the ones that are braided and used on big block cars.

Should have mentioned it, my wires are braided and on a '72 LS-5, no problems so far.
