Trying to find a colour picture of the Nickey Chevrolet 1958 Corvette purple people eater NUMBER 2 car that was used for ONE ONLY RACE by Nickey Chevrolet in August 17, 1958 at the SCCA Montgomery NY race in August 1958. I can only find a black and white picture located at : http://registryofcorvetteracecars.co...ars/245.Nickey had to prepare a second 1958 Corvette PPE car because the 1958 PPE#1 car was in Wisconsin SCCA event with no time to get to N.Y. raceI am trying to determine the following:-was the car painted the same lighter purple as the 1958 PPE#1 car OR the darker purple the same as the 1959 PPE#3 car-what happened to the PPE#2 1958 Corvette after the race. Who purchased it . I have found colour picture of the Nickey 1958 PPE#2 carStill interested if anyone knows who bought the car from Nickey at end of 1958 season + if anyone knows if car wound up in Florida Bill Keogh
