Again the Chevrolet Corvette for 2014 has been named 2014 North American Car of the Year by the North American International Auto Show in Detroit!!!!

Won it before and will win it again!

I think Motor Motor Trend is the only one that packs wallop. Last time Corvette won that was 1984. And if you talk to some Corvette enthusiasts that was the worse Corvette ever built .

Yup...My vote would go to the 1980 Californian 305 for that award. I found this picture on the web that claimed on of the exhaust manifolds from it.



The '84 was probably the most technically advanced car of that time. With that came some issues, it's biggest issue was it grossly underpowered, handling however was incredible on smooth surfaces. I'm pretty sure it was the first production car to pull more than 1G on skid pad.

I'm very pleased with how GM has recovered over the last several years. Great product is the key to their success. Camaro and Corvette lead the pack!
