Did Chevrolet use the exact same intake manifold in 1958 for both passengers cars and Corvette for the 230 horsepower?

Yes, the same GM casting #3746829 was used for 230 hp passenger cars as well as Corvettes. In fact, this manifold was also used for several years after 1958 for both passenger cars and Corvettes. However, although the manifolds were the same for passenger and Corvette, different carburetors were used. Passenger cars used a Rochester 4GC whereas Corvettes used a Carter WCFB.

My apologies. The manifold I have is casting number 3742828 with A111 date for January 11, 1961. False alarm. My apologies.
