Re: AUTO BLOG TERRIFIC VIDEO ASTRONAUTS and CORVETTES
On a slightly related note, my Dad ran the body shop for Williams Chevrolet in Colorado Springs where the Air Force Academy is located for about 20 years. The end result of Air Force pilots learning the hard way that the skill set required to fly a high performance airplane does not necessarily transfer over to driving a high performance car helped put me through school.- Top

I shouldn't base the information I present on what it was when I was in the Air Force.Terry- Top

Re: AUTO BLOG TERRIFIC VIDEO ASTRONAUTS and CORVETTES
I hear that Terry, I retired in 99 and had to look up the info to be sure as if I don't it will bite me in the butt. I have to do that on our cars because I forget sometimes and things in the past always seem faster, better etc. when you remember them. Of course as you can relate, drive the 70 (I have one also) and then your 08, my case 03Z and the difference is quite obvious, of course cool factor of 70 to me can't be topped except by a midyear big block.Michael

Re: AUTO BLOG TERRIFIC VIDEO ASTRONAUTS and CORVETTES
Bob,
All I can say is WOW! I appreciate your taking time to post that video! It was wonderful to see all that footage of such a wonderful time for the USA. I was in the Air Force during that time and can remember that first step on the moon like it was yesterday. And that 67 435 did a pretty good job of staying up with the new Corvette!
Thanks again,
