I am going over my car ('64) prior to judging. In reviewing the vent window glass I find that the passenger side has code "AC" and the driver side has code "IC". According to the Nolan Adams book, pg. 184 the AC code would presumably be September 1963 and the IC code would presumably be June 1963. I say presumably because he shows the table of codes with the year column on the left and the month column on the right. If in fact the first letter of the code indicates the month, mine make sense for a December 1963 built car. The 1963-4 Judging Guide also contains a table and it shows AC as September 1963 and IC as June 1963. My doubt about my vent glass is because the passenger glass is read from inside the car whereas the driver side is read from the outside. Because of the curve of the glass it could not be a right side glass that was installed on the left. What do I have here? Thanks-Doug

Re: C2 Glass Codes
Doug, you have one year on glass form the date of production for judging. You will note the pass side window stamps on vent and side glass are etched on the out sides of glass.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
