Re: 63 brake master cylinder need some education
Thank you John and Harry.
I think what I am trying to learn is where I want to put my money in the restoration of the car. On another forum a guy emailed me and wanted $750 for an original. I about fell out of my chair. My car is not a 150k SWC top flight but I would like correct looking parts on the car. Sounds like the $175 replacement without date is the way to go for now.
I've asked to participate in my local chapter judging in April. I'm hoping to get a baseline for where my car stands and this should help a bunch in understanding where to put the money for improvements.
Most importantly, I love the car and feel very fortunate just to have the privilege to own and drive it in any condition!!!!!
John, it would be an honor to meet you someday. Are you going to attend the KC National this year? I plan to get there with my car without fail. (it will never get any closer with me being in Edmond, OK)
Best
