Re: cool site for old go race cars
There's quite a few of the "Old Reliable" cars that have been restored and are in collections.
The Old Reliable cars were my cousin Dave's along with Grumpy. I was at the tracks when they were running but with another 3 car team. And I was in Grumpy's shop man times.
Some of the best times of my life.

Re: cool site for old go race cars
When I was a kid in high school there was a lightweight 63 living in East St. Louis . I remember it being Red . Everybody said it was a light weight ,I did't know what that was but it sounded cool . The house is still there but I havent seen the car in years .- Top

Here's another "Old Reliable" car - the Strickler National Champion '68 Z/28, owned and restored by Jerry MacNeish, and Class Winner at the 2004 U.S. Nationals; it's going across the block at Barrett-Jackson in a couple of weeks.
