    '58 Rearview Mirror - Rechrome Original go Repop

    I am looking for guidance on whether to rechrome an original rearview mirror or purchase a repop from either Corvette Central or Paragon. specific considerations include:
    • Will the current repops pass for NCRS correct? if not, is the reflection depth the only issue and if so, can the mirrored glass be easily swapped?
    • Will rechroming impact the definition of the text on the back side?
    • Cost comparisons?

    Any insight and/or other comments would be greatly appreciated.

      Best to go to the PRO Joyce Borrell 717 733 5224. Repops will get deduct.

          Don, I have brought mirrors before from Joyce at Carlisle, they were perfect. she may even have a mirror for straight out purchase.
          New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.
