Need Ohio owner(s) of 1957 Corvette red race car (i.e. vin # E57S101335) (i.e. picture attached) that was sold to Canadian person George Pascoe in 1978. Black seats. Car never had roll bar and is genuine original fuel injection car. Replacement 327 cu. in. engine. with exhaust headers and collectors. Was a factory heater delete car. No radio or antenna in 1978. tomI would suggest that you revise title of your thread reply to say : PICTIURE OF CAR IN 1976 When left Ohio This way people will know there is a picture of car they really need to look at !!!!!!!!!!I would suggest you enter an additional reply to say in reply heading: Evidence car was injectedi.e. throttle linkage, correct original choke wiring, correct emblems and hole locationsBill KeoghComment

Bill, just spoke with Robin Janton....very intersting walk down memory lane but his 57 car was original Red/red and 270 factory 4 speed with 4;56 rear. Had a white cove and hardtop on it. Last few years he raced it before going into the service it was solid black, never yellow as per previous posting, never raised in front but did run big Butyl tires out back. A real weapon in its day! Gottta keep digging. Thanks for the lead.Comment

Tom, next time you speak with Robin, tell him I remember him (his Corvette) at at local parking spot in the woods called the 'Crows nest' in about 1964. I was in my 55 Tbird with my main sqeeze at the time. At least I had a bench seat in the Bird!!! Regards,

[Dan, sure will. This was the 3rd "old timer" 57 owner I talked to in the last few days. Made his day. Wanted me to know about his E/Gas 272 car that whipped the C, D/Gas cars. Even beat Jeg Coughlin Sr several times. Sharp as a tack. Unfortunately like the other 2, he don't do PC or IT stuff. I"m amazed it took me so long to get with it and how many still don't and the guy I'm looking for is probably 1 of them. When I was 14 in 1960, a guy let me sit in his 57 Corvette at the Drags in the pits and that started it all. I guess it was not an "Amos Minter Bird" and thats why your into Vett's..Right!
