I am adding the original corner reinforcements from my 1968 to my new oil pan but the two rear most bolts (next to the rear seal) will not bite. All the other bolts worked fine. Were these two bolts longer than the other bolts? If so, what bolt length and where can I get them?

The bolts were all 5/16-20 X 1/2" (except the two front bolts that thread into the timing cover).
What gasket are you using? If you're using a silicone one-piece, you'll be lucky if any of the original bolts will be long enough.
If you're using a stock-type 4 piece set with cork rail gaskets, the cork might be little thicker than original. Also, the added-on corner reinforcements might be a little thicker than the originals. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: BB oil pan question
Thanks Joe. We did not use the stock cork gaskets. I actually removed the corner reinforcements from my original oil pan. The oil pan was really rusted and not repairable, so I did not worry about removing the welds that held the reinforcements . All the other bolts seemed to work fine but those two rear bolts. I ordered some slightly longer bolts from AMK. The head marking is a little different but there is no way to see those bolts unless the car is off the ground.- Top
