    Server Migration

All, please notice we will attempt another server migration on Monday 23rd of December leaving our current hosting provider 1one1 to a new hosting provider LiquidWeb which will hopefully provide us a bit better service (so far LiquidWeb is doing fine with all the preparations). This means there will be some considerable downtime and probably some hiccups early next week. Please understand this will cause one or two issues and have some patience so we can get every running as it is today but hopefully with much less future issues and headaches...

Whenever anyone encounter some out of the ordanairy behaviour after we flag the migration as finished next week please log an incident ticket via our helpdesk via https://www.ncrs.org/helpdesk

    thanks for your understanding,
John Waggoner, Gary Chesnut & Rob Musquetier (aka the IT team).
    Rob.

    Rob,

Do you have a scheduled Start Time Monday for the migration? EST? I understand the End time will be determined as it happens.

Plan is to start when the backup is starting (so no new changes are lost after migration). Will be at 04:00 EST (8 o'clock in my morning, so don't worry I'll be awake)...

Hi Rob, Nice! I just did a few things on the TDB and checked a few the Archives and all looks good so far.

Classifieds seem okay now. I just logged in and edited one of my ads and worked fine.

We declared the server as migrated, when you encounter any weird behaviour please let us know via the NCRS website: https://www.ncrs.org/helpdesk

The server seems to be much snappier, so hopefully the server busy messages are over...

I would like to thank Rob, John, and Gary for their IT efforts which resulted in what appears to be a seamless transition to the new server. Most of you don't realize the effort and hours that these guys put in to make NCRS a better place. When you see them say thanks!

                            Have you tried:
                            1) close and restart your browser
                            2) reboot your computer
