I TOTALLY agree!
I've noticed that as time goes by, people can no longer write, read, punctuate, nor construct complete sentences with proper grammer.
I think the obcession with texting has had a negative effect on people's ability to utilize good english.

Car and Driver, 9/13, tested the 2014 Chevy vs. the 2013 Ford and Ram (I almost typed Dodge).

2. Ford (will be redone for 2015)
3. Ram

I can deal with common abbreviations, and "canx" is common. I can even deal with somewhat bad grammar and syntax.

What really bothers me is that guys don't hit the return key twice to create paragraphs with a space in between. If I'm faced with half a screen or more of single spaced text, I don't even attempt to read it.

A lot of guys here need to do better. Many would flunk eight-grade English, but most other automotive Web sites are worse.

In every post-college job I ever had communications skills were a key part of my performance evaluations, but it seems over time the more communications options we have the worse communications skills become.
