67 seat belt tags

Does anyone now if the Ssnake Oyl seat belt tags will pass judging? I had gotten a deduct for mine not being 'cotton' type, says not to be 'silky' material. Ssnake Oyl people say they use the closest material to original. Does that then pass judging?

John, I would say if they are nylon and not cotton then a no go.

Mine are not nylon, but not sure if exactly cotton or what material is. Does anyone know if made Ssnake Oyl tags pass judging?

I don't think so.....but every judge will view a part through different eyes....Size of the characters, material of the tag and the color of the tag itself seem off to my eyes....Happy Holidays! ARA

John, I had Ssnake Oyl do mine, and I would regularly receive a 1 point deduct at Regional level judging for the non-typical material type on the date coded tags. That is, up until I pulled the original tags off my original seat belts and put the original tags on the reconditioned belts.

No more 1 point deduct.
