1965 glove box door removal

Hello to all; Planning to change my glove box door (65') for another original 'restored' piece. How do I remove the door, as well as the lock mechanism ? Thanks in advance; David K

Dave--easy enough.

The door attaches by screws on the bottom side. You'll need to remove those screws--no big deal.

As for the lock, just remove the shield, push in the button and push it through.

Easy.
