Rob, I believe you have a part no. stamp and a date stamp, I not sure how the first few numbers play in to the date but it appears the middle is Feb. 63, I had this stamp on my 63 on the inside of the outer heater box.

Harry, I recently replaced a outside 63b heater Box busted up and have seen a few stamped inner box stamps and have yet to see a yellow date stamp as yours I wonder if it is a later 62 only?? I should have looked closer you have a 63 yellow date stamp.

The inner box with the April 29, 63 date has the new style mechanism to open and close the trap doors. The original mechanism with the bar and spring never opened and closed the trap doors properly.

Saying that, late 63's probably starting in April had the 64 to 67 inside heater box.

As soon as I saw that date, April 29 1963, that box went into my April 63 car. It works much better than the old style mechanism.

would be nice to mention this is the judging manual for reference sake (since it is not a judgeable item)
