Jim, go to the Chevrolet website, select Corvette (coupe or conv) and you can build and price any combination including Museum delivery. Steve

Thanks for the response. I checked on line for what our local dealers had and had contact with one who has a red SS and a red C-7 convertible. He told me there is no way I can get a GMS discount on either, but he could deal off the list on the SS. My son and I will have an appointment later this week. Just for the dickens of it, I asked if he'd trade me for my 63 on the C-7 and he said the best he could give me would be wholesale on mine, and that I'd probably do better on Ebay, Ha! I had to tell him I was only kidding and then, and only then, did I get him to chuckle. There are car guys and then there are car guys.

Has anyone heard any credible news about the current constraint status? Hopefully BG closing for the holiday break will give suppliers time to catch up and allow for some cars to be built.
