Re: 65 BB intake overspray

The engine paint booth at both Flint V-8 and Tonawanda ran at 300 per hour (12 seconds total cycle time per engine), and there was additional manpower ahead of the booth installing masking items (iron intake carb pad mask, spark plug cardboard tubes, can over distributor, tape on water pump inlet, tape on fuel pump opening, tape or fixture on block stamp pad, vacuum-formed plastic masks for aluminum intakes and valve covers, misc. cardboard plugs, etc.). More manpower was needed after the spray booth to remove all the masking aids. Engine painting wasn't a "precision" operation, but it was very labor-intensive.
