65 F40 coil spring tag or paint

I'm a little confused on specs worded in the '65 Judging guide under front suspension, front coil springs. This is regarding an F40 suspension. On page 143 under "front springs' the wording says that a small ID tape is "flagged" around one spring of the STANDARD SUSPENSION; then it states that the optional F40 front spring is color coded with dark green paint....SEE TABLE. The table lists a spring tag code of EA (which my car has currently). The table doesn't say a thing about any dark green paint. So... What's correct for this application?

Thank you Bob, That's an easy fix. FWIW the car was judged 2x previous to my ownership and didn't receive any deductions either time for that item. Would you think that possibly in an earlier judging guide that the green paint marking would have been specified over a tag? Thanks again, Blake
