'64 A-pillar kick panel design breakpoint date

The '63-'64 judging manual states there was a change between "early" and "late" '64 convertibles in the kick panel attachment. Early cars had 4 screws and later cars had only 3. Does anyone know the approximate assembly date that the change took place? My car was assembled the last working day of December, '63. Thanks.

My March 64 car has the 4 screws. A great many of the changes in 64 seem to have happened in April.
Note I have owned my car since Aug 1967 and know previous owns. The 4 holes existed in the under fiberglass, so check yours.
Really can not tell (for sure) if 4 holes exist, but if only 3 than that may be a sure sign.

Thanks for the quick reply. My car is in the paint shop for the winter. I'll look for the holes when I get it back in the spring. Meanwhile, I'm preparing the details on the replacement carpet for when I get the car back (screw grommets, etc.).

Jeff, and look at your AIM since the screws are not all the same - one of the three front screws (on the metal) is also used on the carpet Just check the location.
