Remember the Texaco station at Huntington Dr and Rosemead in Pasadena?

I'm trying to track my green/saddle base motor 4-speed convertible 67. It was sold new at Jack Head Chevrolet in Alhambra. It has a mirror on the visor from the Texaco station. Anyone have any knowledge/connections/leads on the station or people who frequented it back in 67/68?

.Mike, no memories of Pasadena, but try a SoCal REgional office of Texaco and see if you can get the name of the franchisee? If it was a company store, probably a different beast.

Try the Pasadena Public Library and see if they have a Kohl's (or similar directory) that calls out the owner(s) of the station in the 1967 edition; Pasadena Chamber of Commerce may also have some historical data.

California keeps titles only for five years. too many cars and too many unhelpful govt. workers

Texaco was acquired by Shell and Shell the Dutch Co. could give a flip about our nostalgia. Doubt if there is any history or records of the station available or that anyone would go through the trouble to research. Looks like it's a Shell property now.

It's a long shot, but there is a frequent poster on the CF that goes by the name "TCracing" I believe, who has an amazing amount of information related to the so. cal scene from that era. Might be worth an email.
