    Suspension Nut & Bolt Finishes '68

    I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me with the following nut and bolt finishes on my original '68 rear suspension? I did not find them in the Judging Guide

    3782930 StrutCamber Nut
    125267 Lower Shock Shaft Nut
    3714310 Lower Rear Shock Retainer
    9427880 RearSpring Nut
    3833486 Spring/Diff Plate Mounting Bolt
    3921688 Gas Tank Strap Bolt
    9424985 Snubber Cushion Nut
    3774712 Diff Mount Bracket Casel Nut
    271506 Diff Mount Bracket Nut

    9. 271506 Not sure what nut you are asking about if you meant the strut rod bracket bolt silver

      By silver I think Paul intends zinc...No?

        Paul. That is great. Very much appreciated. On No. 9, it's the other nut on the Diff Mount Bracket (one is a castel nut and the other is hex). Thanks if you can help on that one.

          The GM #125267 castle nut is zinc plated. The GM #3691530 lower shock nut is a gray phosphate. The lower rear shock retainer, GM #3714310, is natural steel.

            By silver I me ether Zinc or Cadmium we would not know which was used in any part with doing an analyzes of the plating being used. So that is the conundrum to figure out.
