Help with a 1963 Corvette Pre Purchase Inspection NC!

Hi All, I am looking to pay someone to inspect a '63 Corvette in NC prior to purchase. Can anyone suggest an NCRS member or high ranking judge who is knowledgeable in engine pads, vin/trim tags, and body fit/finish?

In the perfect world the inspection would be completed prior to Thanksgiving or immediately following Thanksgiving on Sat/Sun. I am very motiviated and will pay mark value + travel.

Dan...I would recommend one of our prolific posters, former regional director, former 1968-72 National Team Leader, former chairman of the publications committee of NCRS, licensed auctioneer & appraiser, chocolate cake lover, and many more adjectives that if used, I'd be banned from this site...none other than our own Papa Smurf, Dick Whittington...he's in N. Wilkesboro and can be contacted thru the board...

I second Vinnie's recommendation for Dick. He recently inspected a '61 in NC for a friend of mine from NH. Excellent inspection and very nice Corvette. Owner bought and took delivery recently and is extremely pleased.

Dick is a busy guy so if he cannot accommodate you right away, if possible, I would wait until his schedule allows. You can send him a email directly via the messaging system here.

+1, he did a great job for me with a '64 in Charlotte a few months ago, even though he was on "injured reserve".

Hey, I'm in the Razorback state of losing football games but I'll like to be hired for big bucks to inspect that 63. I'm a low ranking judge but I'll pick up Papa Smurf and give him a dollar or two, stay at his house and drink some peach stuff with him.
After drinking that stuff, Papa Smurf will inspect the 63 cause I'll be on my back-side!

I was gonna mention the mason jars with the clear liquid and perhaps some fermenting fruit...but figured I'd get in trouble...glad you mentioned it though...now I don't feel so bad...and are you sure he's worth a buck or two?
