Is it only the right hand side radio panel that is special for 1963-67 Corvette?

I have a factory AC car and wonder if it is only the right side radio panel that is a bit different for factory AC cars?
If so why is the right hand side panel different and not the left side radio panel?

The pictures show the right hand side radio panel for AC cars

The GM part number for the right side radio panel is 3833172 as shown in the 1963-1966 Corvette assembly manuals. The 1967 R/S panel is GM # 3899242.

The right side radio panel in my 1966 (without AC) looks like the one in your photos. The number "19170" is molded on the back side of my right side radio panel.

The right side radio panel on a '67 with A/C is different, as it doesn't have the provision for the RH kickpad vent control.

I was sure the pictures was of the right side radio panel for AC cars

According to LIC the one to the left is a radio side panel for factory AC and the one to the right for a non AC car

The AC panel on the left side is the same picture as in my first post
