    "Calloway" mean anything?

Not CallAway...CallOway. '87 convertible, imported to Finland from Virginia in 2003. Has this badge/tag riveted under the hood. Just trying to figure out what the heck it is.....anyone ever seen anything like this, or have an idea? Trying to help another forum member with some info, if possible.

I kinda doubt Reeves would have sent it out with his name spelled wrong...IMHO
Then again it could be one of the very rare Calloways...

I believe the 1987 Callaway Corvette is a twin turbo. The #2 Callaway Corvette is owned by a friend of mine here in Omaha and was placed in the NCM in June of 2013 along side the #1 car. He really wants to sell the car.

My business partner and I have 1987 # 12 Callaway. All of the B2K C4s were twin turbo and had dash plaques with the car number on them. I also own a 1989 B2K convertible # 35 . I am a member of the Callaway owners group and I have never seen a tag like the one in your post

                      Ken,

Could it have been a Tonawanda cast small block for a passenger car?

It had a Corvette SN stamped on that matched the car.

He found another tag under the convertible top deck lid. And here's the RPO label. Definitely NOT a B2K car.

I'd think that tag is from the importer who performed the necessary certifications/changes to make it legal in the country it was sold in.
