Installing top after being recovered. Aim section c sheet 1 showes the mountion nuts opposite each other, but to adjust and tighten the outboard nuts seems difficult. ( given assemble line time issue) seems like the nuts should be facing inboard , any thoughts? Thanks ed

Ed, All I've ever done is as in the AIM, outer bracket carriage bolts from inside to outside with nuts inboard. Yes it's more difficult to tighten up with them there but doable. The assy line may have used a pneumatic "specialty" tool in there.
I use one of these ratcheting flex combination wrenches. My favorite wrench set.

Thanks mike foe the ditto reply also. I've had the 62 apart for 33 yrs. Hope to be on the road this coming spring. I use to have more time than money but now its the other way around. Ed- Top
