    Does anyone have a good source for the early short ball stud for the clutch fork?

      Nevermind.

      Read at least two posts by Joe L. that indicated the 1-1/2" should work fine if not slightly better.

          ....and I doubt you'd find an NOS 1-3/8" ball stud anyway. You might find a used example but you probably already have one of those.
