    65 ball joint grease fittings

My 31,000 mile 65 led a hard life but still has 3 of the 4 original ball joints . They all have grease fittings that have a 90 degree bend and point to the front . Are these correct or should they be straight ?

        Bill,

The 90* fittings were used on 63's and early 64's. They were changed to a straight fitting at that time and continued at least through the end of the 67 model.
