C2 Radiator Hoses w/ Part Numbers... Who sells them???

Anyone know a Corvette parts vendor that sells C2 (1964 equipped with L75 and no A/C) radiator hoses with the correct GM part numbers on them?

    Thanks,

I agree.............however they should also be available from LICS, Paragon, Zip, Corvette Central, and probably many others. Just checkout their websites. Tom DeWitt also used to sell them, and probably still does.

            Guys,

Thanks for the responses, I'll get them ordered. Not to change the subject but per the 63/64 TGJM is states that the 5/8" dia. heater hose is not to be ribbed and contains the GM and square box logos. All I've been able to find is hose kit that are ribbed. Any ideas who sells what the judging manunal describes?

            Thanks again,

                Larry,

He wants NO RIBS on the heater hose, which I believe the judging guide says is correct????? Haven't looked lately.

                  Rick:

James stated that he wanted no ribs on the 5/8 inch diameter heater hose. I think that is what the LICS package provides.

General consensus from most folks is that at least one of the heater hoses is ribbed. The other may also be ribbed or contain logos. I think Michael Hanson discussed this very topic on one of the forums just a few days ago.

Larry, looked at that kit and it is similar to what others sell and it appears to me that ALL of the hoses are ribbed? Which I believe James has stated was his conundrum.

The heater hoses in my '64 L76 (former Duntov from 1993) are not ribbed, but it was restored 20 years ago, so who knows who made them. They both have GM logos in different colors and a yellow stripe on one.

                        Guys,

Thanks again for your responses. I am looking for the 5/8" dia. heater hose without the ribs and has the GM and square box logo on it. I can't believe that if the ribs are on there to determine which manufacturer produced them why they would specify this on the 3/4" dia. hose and not on the 5/8" dia. hose as well. I'm lookling for every point I can get at the upcoming 2014 national convention so I'm try to get the car as correct as possible.

Now to determine how or why the mechanical judges decided that my original air cleaner cover wing nut was a service replacement item which it is NOT!!! I did not replace it back in the late 70's when I bought the very tired but original unrestored car and restored it. I have compared it to numerous other cars on the judging field and some bowtie cars and can't for the life of me fgure out why they thought it is not original. Okay no more venting.

                        Thanks,

                        James

Jim, there should be some Pic.s in the archives of a correct wing nut, it was a big discussion a while ago. My take is the originals, they are thicker than the repros and there is also some machine marks on the wings for the process of making.

My '63 is all original, right down to the hoses and fan belt. The heater hoses are both smooth. There are no visible markings remaining, but I do remember that there were some at one time.
