Need help, what year is this ignition switch for
I have a new ignition switch I do not know what year it is for, it has a number 512 and a 11 on it, see attached pictures, Thank You

Robert - If the ignition switch assembly is embossed with "512" & I see it has the Delco-Remy logo on the back plastic piece then it is part number 1116512 & the applications listed on the Chevrolet Parts & Accessories Catalog, P&A 30, Revised 0ctober 1, 1966 are as follows:
55-56 PASS,
55-57 CORVETTE (12 volt),
55-56 COMM., w/H.T. (235) (12 volt),
55-56 D-D (12 volt),
55-56 Ser. 3 8 cyl.)
