Correct Finish for Front and Rear Bumper Brackets/Valence Brackets - '72

Quick question. Are all the front/rear bumper support brackets and valence brackets to be painted semi-gloss black? How about the rear bumper support rods? Same for them? Mine is a '72 Coupe.

Yes they were all painted a type of semi-gloss black but were dip painted or a high volume spray paint. They were most likely on a conveyer type setup going through at bath or spray booth then heat dried. With that said the shine or gloss of the paint varies from batch to batch. From my understanding if they were unpainted upon arrival to St. Louis they were sent over to the main production side of the plant. The Corvette assembly side did not have the facilities to paint there items.
