    C1 Heater/Clock Console Plate-Blockoff Plate

I have a 1958 Corvette that does not have a heater. It has a plate that covers the heater control openings. The tabs are broke off so it was fastened with double sided tape. Plus it has some dents in it. I have checked numerous vendor web sites and cannot find a reproduction. There is one in an eBay store but it isn't in good shape. Is there anyone that reproduces this part that I missed?

Otherwise I will continue to go through old Drivelines and see if I can find one.

Not an expert, but I believe there are passenger car block off plates being passed off as Corvette. Maybe Doc "Quack" McCagh will chime in.

There is one on Ebay now including the block off for the firewall. Not cheap at $225. The Vette Gal sells the radio block off plate. The are the correct size and material. I used one on my 60 and had no issues with judging at Regional and National. If you don't like the one on Ebay, you could also try Grossmuellers.

Also, Corvette Central sells a blank on. It is the whole panel with no holes. I believe the correct one is just a cover insert that covers the heater control holes.

Yes, I get emails from them and in the emails she goes by either Vette Gal or Vette Lady, on ebay she is PartsQueen.
