1964 KO Wheel Date Stamp... What Color was the Ink???

I've did a search in the archives and can't find an answer to my question which is.

What is the correct color of the ink that was used to stamp the dates on 1964 Kelsey Hayes knock-off wheels? I've heard both yellow and green but I'd like to hear from some owners with survivors what color the ink is on their original KO wheels.

Original wheels I have restored, the ink was black-very faint, but on some it was there. We spent quite abit of time to measure and create the image to have it duplicated. We now can have lazer cut stamps made with any date needed, which we use in our wheel restoration of early K-O wheels.

Spoke with original owner '64 FI, Al. wheel car. His were black.
