    63 fuel radiator core support

    what to do? my 63 fuel original rad. core support is rotted out on the bottum. replace or repair?

    If you have the ability to weld and the damage is limited to the bottom rail that would probably be cheaper. I think you have to look at how bad the rot is. I have seen some supports where the rot is into the upright part of the support and replacing the bottom will not repair all the damage. When I repaired my support the bottom piece was all that I could find available so that is what I did. Now a very accurate reproduction support is available for 63's.
